Dear Patients, I’m excited to continue offering care under my new brand, Stittsville Health & Wellness, at two new locations:

New Location for consultations, tincture pick-ups, Intra-muscular Injections, and acupuncture: 1501 Stittsville Main St. (Zenvy Spa- second floor)
IV Therapy Location: 1130 Mill St. (in Manotick Health & Wellness clinic)

FEES INCREASING IN 2025

My rates have remained unchanged for the past three years. However, due to rising costs, starting in January, there will be a small adjustment. The new fees will be: - Initial visit: $350 - 60-minute follow-up: $300 - 45-minute follow-up: $225 - 30-minute follow-up: $150 - Acupuncture visit: $140

Injection and IV treatment fees will remain unchanged.

I understand that fee adjustments can be difficult, and I am committed to providing the same level of care and attention you’ve come to expect.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that we require a 48 hour cancellation notice. Patients who provide less than 48 hours notice, will be charged the scheduled appointment fee. By booking your appointment, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

CREDIT CARD

Your credit card information is required to be on file in order to secure your appointment time slot. You will not be charged until after your appointment. Your appointment may be cancelled 48hours prior if you are a new patient without a completed intake form or credit card information on file.

Meet Dr. Karim Alami, ND

Dr. Alami is a registered naturopathic doctor serving the Ottawa and Stittsville communities. His journey into naturopathic medicine began with a passion for movement and wellness as a kinesiologist, which inspired him to pursue a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Alongside this, he earned a Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (DHMHS) from the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine. In the past, Dr. Alami shared his expertise as a lead instructor at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Ottawa. Today, in addition to his clinical practice, he gives back to his community by serving as a volunteer firefighter in Stittsville.

Dr. Alami focuses on finding and treating the root causes of health concerns rather than merely managing symptoms. His approach draws from multiple disciplines, including botanical medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy, and nutrition, allowing him to develop customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. To Dr. Alami, true wellness involves more than treating illness—it means building a solid foundation for health through balanced nutrition, effective stress management, restful sleep, and optimal function across all body systems.

Digestive health plays a key role in Dr. Alami’s philosophy of care. He believes the gut functions as the body’s foundation, much like the roots of a tree nourish its branches. When digestion or nutrient absorption is compromised, it can affect the entire body, leading to symptoms such as eczema, asthma, autoimmune disorders, and mental health challenges. His passion for digestive wellness drives his work with patients dealing with conditions like IBS, SIBO, GERD, bloating, and constipation.

While Dr. Alami treats a broad range of health issues, he holds a special interest in digestive health, men’s health, and mental well-being. He frequently supports patients with concerns such as burnout, low libido, adrenal fatigue, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, his expertise includes managing chronic conditions like hypothyroidism, autoimmune disorders, type II diabetes, high blood pressure, and skin issues such as eczema and psoriasis.

Dr. Alami takes pride in building meaningful relationships with his patients, grounded in trust and collaboration. He sees his role as a “health detective,” dedicated to uncovering the root causes of his patients’ symptoms and developing practical, personalized treatment plans. His approach combines in-depth clinical assessments with specialized lab testing, including IgG food sensitivity testing, heavy metal analysis, thyroid function panels, and SIBO breath testing.

In addition to naturopathic consultations, Dr. Alami offers services such as intravenous (IV) nutrient therapy, vitamin B12 and D injections, acupuncture, bioidentical hormone therapy, and dietary counseling. Preventive care is at the core of his practice, helping patients establish healthy habits and make sustainable lifestyle changes to support long-term wellness.
